Veronica is Chair of the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH) is a Not-for-Profit charitable organization established in 1977. We have been providing services in Oakville, Halton for thirty four years. In 2007 the CCAH received the Ontario Trillium Foundation Great Grants Award for Arts and culture.
In 2001, the CCAH initiated a Steelpan program for youth. Many of the youth now participate in various bands playing in the annual Pan Alive competition. Since then, the CCAH Steelpan program has had significant impact in the community.
Playing pan is an important avenue of self-expression. Our players have fun with the music, communicating the energy and passion of the Caribbean with every note.
