The Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH) is a Not-for-Profit charitable organization established in 1977. We have been providing services in Oakville, Halton for thirty four years. In 2007, the CCAH received the Ontario Trillium Foundation Great Grants Award for Arts and culture.
In 2001, they initiated a Steelpan program for youth. Many of the youth now participate in various bands playing in the annual Pan Alive competition. The CCAH Steelpan program has had significant impact in the community and in 2006 had the distinct honour of playing for the Prime Minister during his visit to Oakville.
In 2010, the CCAH Steelpan Band participated in the Montreal Panorama and received honorary mention for their outstanding performance.
