Salah Steelpan Academy was founded by Anthony Salah Wilson, recording artist, composer, arranger, producer, educator and author.
The Academy has been a fixture at Pan Alive since 2000 and has been among the top bands since the competition element was introduced. The band has won the Pan Alive competition for past four years and is the defending champion (as of 2011).
